RE-Greenhouse is a collaboration between 11 partners from Belgium, Netherlands, France, Luxembourg and Germany, aimed at accelerating the transition from fossil fuels to renewable energy in greenhouse horticulture.
Partners recently met in Leuven at Boerenbond to discuss the progress and next steps of the various work packages. One of the project’s outputs will be a digital tool that will give entrepreneurs and other stakeholders more up-to-date insight into the local availability of renewable energy.
The project also offers a valuable opportunity to connect the cultures and shared interests of partners across North-Western Europe. The Dutch delegation (see photo) consisted of Greenport West-Holland, The Hague University of Applied Sciences and Municipality of Westland.
